Aleksandra advises and represents employers on a broad range of issues including employment agreements, employment standards, wrongful dismissal litigation, discipline and termination, human rights and accommodation, attendance and disability management, grievance arbitration, collective bargaining, collective agreement administration, labour board proceedings, privacy, workplace safety and insurance, and international workplace investigations. Aleksandra also regularly conducts workplace investigations and workplace culture reviews as a third-party investigator for organizations in a variety of industries including not-for-profit, education, financial services, childcare, ecommerce, professional services, information technology, and municipal. Aleksandra has presented on educational topics for employers and human resources professionals including respect in the workplace and legal considerations surrounding key elements of the employment relationship, such as bonuses and termination clauses. She has also written on a range of topics in human resources law including, workplace investigations, harassment, termination of employment, and major legislative developments. Aleksandra has co-facilitated the Williams HR Law Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations course and the Human Resource Professional Association’s Labour Relations Certificate Program, which was developed and is exclusively delivered by Williams HR Law in conjunction with its sister firm, Williams HR Consulting Inc. Aleksandra is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Common Law Program. While at law school, Aleksandra was a senior editor and business manager of the Ottawa Law Review.
